Each employee survey creates an information landscape unlike any other. Our automated text analysis uses a library of more than 200 themes to scan open text comments for patterns. This library allows us to capture the full range of themes discussed by each employee population and categorize individual comments more precisely. We can analyze text in one language or multiple languages.
Fast analysis
We use AI for text analysis. A typical survey with open ended questions generates as many as 1.5 million words of open text from each question. Our AI algorithms analyze this data and extract the key themes more efficiently and more accurately than any human can.
Beyond keywords
Our researchers do what technology can’t with open ended questions analysis. Unlike most NLP text analytics, we apply qualitative as well as quantitative research methods. Our researchers review themes and sort comments the algorithms don’t understand. It takes human judgement to unpick ambiguous statements, understand tone and nuance, and spot anomalies — and to see connections between themes. We feed these examples back to our algorithms so they keep learning.
Deeper insights
Cross-referencing open text data with other survey and workforce demographic data provides even richer insights on the organization. We can segment the employee population and show which themes are most important to which groups, compare perceptions between groups, and highlight connections that may have been hidden.
Interactive reporting
We return data in easy to use formats. We create our interactive data visualizations in HTML so they are compatible with all content management systems. These visualizations can be adapted for different audiences and embedded in management reports and internal communications. For organizations that want to give in-depth feedback we provide dashboards that allow survey data to be explored.
Premium options
Greater customization is available for organizations with particular requirements. We can provide input on survey design and open ended questionnaire examples so the right questions are asked.
